New Book Spans Mitchell County History 1861-2012

In Voices of the Valley, Elizabeth C. Hunter, well known, award winning and much appreciated local writer, weaves the voices of past and present generations into enjoyable human stories that bring life to the 150 year-old history of Mitchell County. The coffee-table book is richly illustrated with contemporary photographs from local photographers and filled with historical images, over 90% of which have not appeared in press.
